  • 1.  SMGR as CA, adding multiple IP Address

    Posted 19 days ago

    Hello -

I am wondering if anyone here knows if the SMGR CA is capable of doing SAN with multiple IP Addresses? I see you can input one IP address, but I didn't know if there was a syntax (Like add a comma) that allowed me to put multiple IP addresses in that SAN:

    James,

Yep, SMGR-CA is capable of creating Server Identity Certificates with multiple addresses. The trick is to create and use a new "End Entity Profile".

The summary of the steps outlined below is:

    1. 1.       Copy the INBOUND_OUTBOUND_TLS profile and give it a new name.
    2. 2.      Edit the new profile to add the additional addresses.
    3. 3.      Employ the new profile when creating the new Server certificate.

    James -

I believe that you'll need to create an End Entity Profile that allows for multiple IP Addresses.  You would then select that profile when you Add End Entity.
