  • 1.  Question on Options in the 46xxsettings/upgrade files

    I am hoping one of you Brilliant IAUG Members can point me in the right direction with this off the wall question...

    Is there a document that Avaya has, or someone knows about that outlines all of the options available when using the SET, IF, GOTO, GET commands in the 46xxsettings or upgrade.txt file?

    I can piece together a few options like:

    $MODEL4 = Model type of phone
    $MACADDR = MAC address
    $HWVERS = Phone Hardware Version

    I am thinking there is more options too... but I have yet to come up with a document or list of them, and I am HOPING someone here has that readily available.

    The most comprehensive lists are provided by the sample 46xxsettings.txt files that can be downloaded from the same location as the different H.323/SIP firmware sets for 9600 Series phones on https://support.avaya.com.

    Lengthy but that's what you get for comprehensive. Also maintained by the same teams who write the firmware so probably the most complete listings rather than any separate manuals. Covers options such as $GROUP, $IPADD, $MACADDR, $GEN, $APPNAME and $SUBNET in addition to the ones you mentioned.
