  • 1.  Question on 4610SW IP phones and CM10

    We are currently looking to upgrade from CM6 to CM10.  Wondering if anyone can advise if the 4610SW IP phone is still fully compatible with that version?

    Not sure we have the budget to roll out J series phones that are being recommended.  If we can continue to use our 4610 units, until time the money becomes available that will be a great selling point for Management.

    They should still be compatible -- but keep in mind that if you turn on encryption in your environment, you may run into issues.

    The 46xx IP phones don't support above TLS 1.1, and CM 10 defaults to TLS 1.2 and 1.3.  Additionally, if you keep up with firmware versions with your media gateways, you may run into issues with cryptos between the devices as well.  If you don't plan on enforcing encryption, you shouldn't have any issues.
