    Dear members,

    For the first time, we are required to get the CDR reports for our SIP endpoints.
    Most of our environment (around 4000 endpoints) is H.323, we are getting CDR reports from our existing accounting software & we are pretty much satisfied with it.

    Now, due to some specific situation, we have deployed SIP IP phones and SIP trunks & enabled the CDR parameters in Session Managers successfully and getting the CDR flat file but the process is manual, fetching the report via SFTP client, each time.
    Is there anyway we can automate the same without investing in additional CDR software ?Please suggest.
    We are on Aura 8 release.

    Wouldn't it be really nice if Avaya stood back and thought to themselves: "Call Detail events are available from the following sources:
    * Avaya SBC/SBCE
    * Avaya Session Manager
    * Avaya Communication Manager
    * Avaya CMS (using ECHI if the customer wants to buy that)"

    And created a product to ingest and seamlessly report on all these sources!!

    I can't answer your question Arslan because we faced the same challenge (on ALL the above systems), and so we have ended up using our splunk deployment to ingest and analyse this data. but it would be really neat if there was something 'out of the box' that allowed this!

    Michael/Arslan -

    We have been faced with the same issue, and have talked with our CDR Vendor, SAI Sierra Gold about our options.

    They can consume CDR Data from both CM (Both Main and LSPs) as well as SM, and then make some custom views for you. Not sure if they can do anything with the SBC (Would have to ask, but they do like to take on custom features).

    Check them out if you are interested:
