I have been in IT and Telecommunications in the public sector since 1999. In 2007, I received a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management. I believe in public service and my work experience indicates that I choose to participate as a leader in information technology and information systems management. I play a vital role and use accepted IT development policies to ensure that IT systems are implemented on time, on budget, and meet high quality standards. I develop and recommend strategic IT plans, participate in the development of overall IT direction and strategies, develop the IT budget, work with management in the development of an IT plan, recommend and approve IT purchases and supervise the IT technical and operations staff. I manage and oversee the daily operations of NW Washington for a public transportation and safety agency of 6000 employees and 10,000 telecommunication endpoints located in offices, on roadways, bridges and tunnels, at ferry terminals and aboard ferry vessels, at aviation facilities and commercial vehicle weigh stations and border crossings. My wife and I live in Gig Harbor, WA and support our two daughters who are in dental and medical school.
