I have an old Avaya Ip Office Manager 500 installation running on windows 2000 professional with Office Manager version 6.2(14) and Voicemail Pro Client version 4.2(27).  It is running on old hardware and would like to get this on new hardware.  Have tried virtualizing it with Vmware Workstation 6.5 and could not get it to work this way.  Has anyone got this working with another method of virtualization(esxi/hyperv)?   Or would it be better to try and physically clone the drive and install on another server.  Or to just install the latest version of the apps on a newer windows OS?  

Google ip office matrix release 4 and download the Excel workbook, look at Windows Operating System support for 4.0, and you will see that this will only run in XP Pro, 2000 Pro, Server 2000 SP4, and Server 2003. If you can virtualize one of these machines, you can run it no problem
