  • 1.  TTR-LEV alarm after Port Network decommission

    Posted 11-07-2018 05:35 AM

    Hi,

    Version:  CM 6.3

We've been decommissioning old legacy G650 based PNs that formed our core Port Networks.  These have been replaced with G450s.  Since decommissioning the final G650 Port Networks (each comprising of A and B G650s) six major alarms are showing for TTR-LEV.  One of the G650s had a TN744 Call Classifier card.

We have followed the processes detailed here in this link about resolving this alarm but it is still on the system.
    Resolving a TTR-LEV alarm

I believe this relates to either the TN744 or the IPSIs that were in use by these PNs.  My understanding is that it relates to our TTR values dropping below the thresholds set within 'display sys maint'.  I am a bit confused though as all work is now undertaken by our G450s and G430s.  I all these thresholds to zero.  Nothing seems to be service affecting but the alarms are causing concern and I would have thought this is quite a common architecture (G450s replacing G650s).

Any assistance in terms of resolution or where to look would be really appreciated.  We have a ticket open with our maintainer also.

Have you removed legacy hardware and programming for the legacy hardware?
tn744, tn748, tn2312 ports are used for the calculations on system-parameters maintenance.

Make sure the change circuit-pack for each g650, MCC, SCC, CMC port networks no longer
    have tn744, tn748, tn2312 boards showing up

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, all hardware removed both in software and hardware.  The cabinets have been removed from the system too, including the one that housed the TN744.  We have no TN circuit packs remaining in our system.  It's a bit strange.

    Command: reset system 1
not service affecting, but will log off current CM administrator logins.

    Alarm should not come back.
