    Hi folks,

I would like to know your experience / feedback on integrating Audio Codes with Avaya Enterprise via SIP.
I want to evaluate these boxes to terminate CO trunks for very small branch offices with 1/ 2 analog lines and 4-5 extensions and then connecting / registering these branch locations to centralized Avaya Aura platform.
We are not able to justify the costs of G430s and MM711 boards for such branch locations so evaluating options of Audio codes.
Appreciate your suggestions &recommendations for such case.

Our experience has been mixed with the Audiocodes products.  We've actually been using products from Patton with pretty good success.  They are beasts to configure, but show up as standard SIP trunks or Stations.  For our sites that need simple analog stations, the SmartNode 4141 has been our go-to.  There are other ones with FXS (CO Trunk) ports as well, using the same config.

For anything more than a few ports, we always go to the Avaya H248 gateways (they also provide DSPs that can be used by phones, etc -- which are important to balance with all this), but it is hard to justify a $5k investment for that one fax machine that somebody still somehow needs...
