  • 1.  Voice amplifying add-on to 9611 Avaya phone

    A user in my office recently had surgery that has impacted their vocal cords.  User's voice sounds like someone with a really bad cold, speech is hoarse, raspy and low.  User's voice may never return to normal, but at the least there will be a long recovery process.
    Does anyone know of an add-on to the Avaya 96xx phone models that will amplify a user's voice?  Researching, but so far no dice.

    Cathy,
    I don't know if you found a product to address this, but if not you should also look into the 46xxsettings.txt file.  There are a couple of items that may help.  AGCHAND, AGCHEAD, and AUDIOENV values may help amplify your user's voice.
