  • 1.  Default to headset option using SIP phones

    I have recently switched to SIP phones from H.323, specifically 9611G. We used the "SYSAUDIOPATH 2"  option in the 46xxsettings file to set the default audio to headset. We are using IC on the front end. This option does not appear to work with SIP phones?
    Anyone know how to make the headset the default audio option on a SIP phone?

    You can change the option from the phone itself, under Options & Settings / Call Settings / Audio Path.  Check the 96x1 SIP Administration guide from the Avaya support site to see if there's a settings file way.
