    Hello all,

I am trying to find more information on using the ADS/SAL server as an Alarm receiver. From what I understand (which is not much about it) is that I can link all my customers ADS/SAL servers to alarm to my BP ADS server as well. They are already alarming to Avaya but I would like Alarming direct to me if possible, a lot of customers do not allow VPNS and other such connection on their network but allow the ADS/SAL server. I am having trouble finding any documents on it. Any help or tips are appreciated.

Never got a reply to this, hoping to get some advise here. I have sent a ITSS ticket, but still have not got a reply on that.

I added the MAC address as per documentation in link below on page 58, but still not able to find out what else I need to do. When looking at the SAL from the Avaya side, I still see it is "BP Alarming status = False" for any of the customers I look at for their SEIDs. as per page 38 of that document, however I am not enabled and not sure how to "enable" alarming.. The document seems to leave that part out.
