Looking to bring a new location online in India. Solution will be Avaya LSP with an E1, and the LSP registers back to the US. Rumors heard are you cannot route an Incoming call in India to the US. Comments, thoughts, experiences?

    Hi AB,
Voice regulatory rules in India says you shouldn't call to US PSTN numbers from an IP phone (sitting in indian office) using your voice gateway (sitting in US) office as this will be toll- bypass, basically you shouldn't do TEHO calls.

From India you would be allowed to recieve incoming calls terminating on your US office PBX only, not on a US cell phone.

You should try to read about OSP (other service provider) license provided by TRAI.
Also, there are some relaxations provided during pandemic for Work from home.
    Try to investigate.
