    Hello IAUG!

    Let me first say sorry for the Repeat Message on the Third Party Thread - I missed the Cross Post option the first go around.

    I know this isn't Avaya per-say, but it would connect to our Avaya system... I am curious if anyone out here is using the services of MetroSwitch? If so, would you mind having a discussion with me about how you feel about their service, their offer, and if they are truly "Reliable" when it comes to LEC Diversity.

    My group is evaluating it, and there are really two trains of thoughts in my organization, and we need to ask some questions to a "Real World" customer of MetroSwitch before we can all get on the same page with their products/services.

    I have no experience with Metro Switch as a company, but the impression I get from a cursory glance at their website is that they establish a SIP trunk and then play the field with different SIP carriers to provide carrier diversity and perhaps some cost advantages.

    I searched through Avaya SBCE application notes but did not find any on the support web site.  You may just have to ask them for references stipulating they need to be an Avaya shop with characteristics that match yours.
