Greetings all.  I am anew member here, so please bear with me.

I am trying to get the G450's and Solarwinds to talk to each other, but SW is failing at the "test" portion of adding a node.

I know that I am connecting correctly because here is what i get when I change password and then use the correct passwords when doing an snmpwalk:

    Bad auth password/good priv password:
snmpwalk: Authentication failure (incorrect password, community or key)

    Good auth password/Bad priv password:
    Timeout: No Response from 10.6.x.x

    Correct passwords for auth/priv:
    Error in packet.
Reason: authorizationError (access denied to that object)

    Thanks,

    Mark Flath

Hi, we were able to add MGs into Solarwind easily (at least my Network Team does). Just you must enable SNMP (v1) on MG first by 'snmp-server community read-only [cummunity_name] read-write [cummunity_name]' command.

We are good now.  Stupid me, I had a case sensitivity issue with the read-write community.

    there is no V3configView

    it should be v3configView

    Thank you, and God Bless.
