Is there a way I could see all endpoints that are using a coverage path. we have been building coverage paths for many years and I am guessing that half are not used anymore. I would like to make sure and then re-use the cov pat number for others.

    Thanks Donna

I just had an upgrade from s8400 to CM. I used to use ASA but have been getting used to System Manager because they say ASA is going away. Are you using ASA to enter this command? I am connecting to my CM server but I am getting a strange prompt and 'diap cov send' is not a recognized command. Or is there some other way I should be accessing CM?

ASA - get out of GEDI

use Advanced tab on left, then Start Emulation

    Command: display coverage sender-group x

I am setting up ASA and put in the IP of the communication manager. Is this correct? All I get for a choice is 'Start Emulation' I don't see GEDI. Do I put in the IP of my CM or one of the other servers? I am using ASA 6.0.07.   I don't think I am using the correct emulation. If you look at the attachment you will see what I am connecting to.

Figured it out. I was accidentally creating a Generic Device instead of a connection to a new voice system. I put in the command you gave me and I received the information I needed.  thanks

Is it true that ASA is going away? If so how is this done in System Manager? Reports?

ASA is not going away. It's used on the newer CM systems and supports all previous Definity software as well.

You can also use Putty, Tutty, Procomm, CMS terminal emulator, Terranova, and several other means for command access.

Hi Dale - if you think you have coverage paths that are not being used, you can also run an audit (in GEDI Fault and Performance Tab) and that will tell you if you have any un-used coverage paths or remote points
