We are inthe process of upgrading some of our off site locations and was wondering what the differnce between a G450 vs a G430 other than price? As well as what is the gain from moving from a G700 to a G450? Thank You

    Well,

G450 is 3U high, has dual power supplies and 8 slots.
G430 is 1.5U high, has just one power supply and 3 slots. You can add
    expansion modules - EM200.

So really depends how many phones you will have on each location, the
number one analog/digital/trunks and the power redundancy that you want.
Other than that the S8300 will provide you the LSP capability.

In regards to DSP's perspective: Basic configuration to G430 is 20 channels
and for G450 is 80 channels.
The DSP resources can be upgraded in both cases if needed. (G430 to 100 and
    G450 to 320 channels).

If you are going to Aura 7 it is required at least S8300D (E has more power
    and memory).

Thank you for the response, just wondering if it makes sense to move from a G700 to a G450?

    Yes, make sense.

If you also use on your G700 the module WAN X330 you will need to keep it
or find out another way to have you network connectivity.

I know this might be too late, but I know that the G700 is not supported for 8.0 and above, but not sure about 7.

The G700 is End of Life and has been for a while. Moving forward with maintenance you need to be either a G430 or G450.
