We would like to password protect the Settings menu to keep curious users out. The SETTINGS_MENUS_ACCESS parameter does not seem to make any difference. Has anyone else restricted access to Settings?

It may only work if there is also an administrator password set.

However, as far as I can work out from the 46xxsettings.txt file listing (https://support.avaya.com/tsoweb/46xxsettings/27072022/46xxsettings.txt), for Workplace that only applies when it is running on an Avaya Vantage phone.

(If that is the case, I suspect all that you can do is use the settings check interval setting to make the phones regularly reload the settings file so as to overwrite any user changes - but I accept that's less than ideal)

We did try setting an administrator password but came to the same conclusion that it only applies to Vantage sets.

    Thank you for responding!
