  • 1.  use Avaya ventage K175 on Cisco CM

    Dears;

    I hope you have a wonderful day.

    I want to use Avaya ventage K175 device on my Cisco Call Manager.

    after did factory reset for the device, I can't see any configuration for SIP.

    knowing that I added the 242-scope option on DHCP with the following details for "string value."

    MCIPADD="Cisco Call Manager IP", MCPORT=1719, HTTPSERVER="Cisco Call Manager IP"

    was the above configuration, correct?

    Hi,
    K175 will register to cucm as SIP not as h323 hence 1719 port is incorrect.
    It should be 5060 or 5061 depending upon your requirement tcp or tls.
    I recommend to start with 1 device and configure it manually instead of dhcp.
    Also,what is your configuration for k175 in cucm?

    CUCM config are: 

    SIP Port: 5060

    transport: UDP

    ----------------------------------------------

    configuration in 46xxsettings.txt for Cisco as following:


    SET SIP_CONTROLLER_LIST (CUCM_Server):5060; transport=udp
    SET SIPPROXYSRVR (CUCM_Server)
    SET SIPSIGNAL 1
    SET SNTPSRVR 10.102.103.111
    SET GMTOFFSET -5:00

    are the configurations correct?
