I had the a similar or same issue and got a answer from Avaya that may help
i.e. in my case i had ext 8506 on two stations x 5506 and X4084 as a BCA
set up as below
station 4084
6:brdg-appr B:1 E:8506 R:Y
the other
station 5506
6:brdg-appr B:1 E:8506 R:n
on J100 worked as expected
on IX workplace for station 5506 on iPhone still got an alert for x 8506
so what would happen is
CM will use the first station 4084 configuration to generate the alert-info=internal only
When I changed 4084 to No ring as per below
station 4084
6:brdg-appr B:1 E:8506 R:N
My Issue was resolved,
the official answer from Avaya was
By design CM will only send one one Publish message to the user list which has bridge call appearance for same station.
This is working as designed

Can you check the setting in the change off-pbx-telephone station-mapping xxxxx form? Page two, there should be the bridged call alerting option under the OPS line. In theory, that would control if the station gets the ringing alerts for bridged appearances.

I wanted to see if anyone had any information on Avaya Workplace and bridged call appearances.
The issue we are having is that any bridged call appearance is altering even with Bridged call alerting is not enabled in CM.
Any other SIP based hard phone acts as expected as does not alert.
We think this may have changed in a recent release of Workplace.
