Volunteering with IAUG

Volunteer with IAUG

IAUG relies on individual members to lead and execute the mission and goals of the organization. Because of dedicated individual members of the user community, IAUG is able to continue to provide advocacy, networking, and education to Avaya customers worldwide. IAUG invites you to take part of the growing community and assist in building the future of IAUG.

“Volunteering with IAUG has been so beneficial in developing relationships with other members who may be going through similar technology transitions, as well as in helping to find my way to key resources in Avaya who can help us plan our future roadmaps. I’ve appreciated making those connections and seeing everyone at conference to hear what new challenges they’ve faced since last year, or finding out new ways to solve old problems!”

- Christine Conner, IT Systems Engineer Consultant - Strategic Planning, Progressive Insurance

"IAUG has provided me a direct path to communicate with Avaya about issues and problems, as well as to have a voice in the development of new products and services. The wonderful people I’ve met have become new professional connections that help me in my daily job."

- Stephanie Morgan, Voice Communications Supervisor, Inmar

Volunteer Opportunities and Committees

Councils offer members an opportunity to connect and identify with peers and experts with shared interests and needs. By providing a direct communication pipeline to Avaya and Avaya partners’ product development and services teams, councils help ensure the voice of IAUG members is heard. In addition, council participants contribute to the development of year-round programming for IAUG including the webinar series and annual conference programming. Serve as a Council Member or Council Chair.

Chapters provide connections for members around the world, providing easy-access events and networking opportunities for IAUG members. Local chapter events promote year-round community engagement and contribute to the development of strong relationships among members, Avaya, and its partners. Volunteer within your chapter as a Chapter Leader and work to engage local IAUG members.
