  • 1.  Attendants using Listed Directory Reporting

    Posted 01-17-2019 01:45 PM
    Hello,
I am being asked for call volume reports for our attendants.  I have tried the "list measurements attendant group" command and it only show peak hours.  I am looking to find a report for full call usage for our attendants.  We have a listed directory number setup attendants. We are on CM 6.3 and do have CMS... if any of that helps.
    Thank you ahead of time,
    May Lindler

    Hi May,
If you're still using ASA, you can schedule a report to run hourly and it can be saved to a file.  The options for saving the file include placing the date in the filename and having the data appended to the existing file.  Any way you look at this, some manipulation is required to get the data into a usable report.  If you have programmers at your disposal, they can automate the reporting for you.

System Manager can also save CM reports locally or to a file server using Secure FTP or SCP.

    Tom,
I have been looking all over, I am missing where to set specific report for attendants in ASA.  Could you please elaborate on the steps for reporting on hourly call volume for attendants?

    May,
You can use the left pane of ASA, under advanced I believe.  Use the report item and then provide the command line you'd use from the SAT terminal.  There are several steps in this tool that you proceed through.  One asks you if you want to run it immediately or schedule it to run at a later date.  it allows you to specify the frequency for running the command, too.

It allows you to specify the filename and directory for storage and whether or not to append the data, and/or use the date in the filename.

You can also reference online help.

    Good luck.
