I recently sat through a presentation on Avaya Contact Center Control Manager(ACCCM)

The presentation was pretty good and the platform looked like it will have great value for managing my ACD and other adjuncts at my site

Does anyone have any experience with this product?

If so, pleae give me some feedback abot the pro's and con's

    Thank you

    Hi,

we have been using the product for several months and it is great.

our environment includes CM, CMS and AVP and it solved us a lot of problems.

I dont see any con's, only pro's. we have been waiting for something like this for years (central admin, role based permissions...)

I was pretty impressed with what it has to offer.
Only slight downside is it seemed to need a few servers

it is actually running on a single vmware in our environment.

you only need more then one server if you are running an HA environment

    Shanon is right.
typically, in a small - medium environment (up to 25000 seats) you will install ACCCM on a single server (either psychical or virtual). in this case you will install all of the platform components on a single server:
DB (sql 2005/2008 express/STD/ENT) *note that by default ACCCM wizard install the 2005 express edition - no license required
Application server (hosted on windows server 2003 x32 or windows server 2008 x32 /x64)
    Web server (Microsoft IIS 6/7)
if you want to go HA you can distribute the different system components across 2-8 servers (depended on the HA requirements)
    Regards,
    Liran.
