Hi all, does anyone know how to block an incoming number (DID) destined for a station. I know we can block if through a vector using vrt but not sure about direct to st.

    thanks

If you know the number you are trying to block - you can try this:

    David,

    Here you go:

Create soft-number extension. And then map it to an off-pbx-station via the Off-pbx-telephone station mapping.
    on the off-pbx-telephone screen :
Station Extension : - soft number you created
    Application : Ec500
    Dial Prefix : 1
Phone number : number you want to restrict
    Trunk Selection : ars
    Config set : 1

    Mapping mode : Origination
On the station form, make the cor level have a FRL of 0 (thus restricting any outbound calling) and the Calling Party Restriction: origination
It's been a while since i did this , but this should be all you need.

I can confirm that Mike's instructions work.

It's a simple clean way to block calls from a specific ANI regardless of what DID number it's calling on your switch.

You are trying to prevent a station from receiving call on its DID?

or are you trying to block calls from a certain number?

    If the former: Just do
    cha inc

look around in that section. You can do something like point the DID to a receptionist, or a fake number/drop the call.
If the latter, follow the link by the other poster.
