You will want to go into the "change off-station fne" section of site administration (ASA). For each of the entries, you can assign a DID to enable or disable the feature. When a user calls the DID remotely, it will enable/disable the feature.
If you can't afford the DIDs for every option, you can assign one to the "Select first line appearance" item, assign internal extensions to the others, and then have the user dial the other extension numbers by hand. Unfortunately, if you do that method, you won't be able to use IX Workplaces in EC500 mode (that requires DIDs for each option).

Subject: Enable/disable EC500 remotely
Avaya offers apps for mobile devices that allow users to enable/disable EC500 from their own device. Avaya IX Workplace is the current branding. It's got a dumbed down mode for EC500 vs. being the full on softphone.

Hello,
Can someone point me to a good document on how to redirect inbound calls using EC500 so that the user can enable/disable remotely? Is there a way to set up a pilot number (like a telecommuting DID) for this purpose?
Thanks,
JJJ
