  • 1.  Avaya Experience Portal: RDM (Reusable Dialog Module)

    Posted 11-05-2020 03:46 PM
Does anyone know of an Avaya Partner that supports RDM?  Our team may need support in migrating our Experience Portal applications from OD6 to OD7.  Many of the OD6 applications utilize RDM.

Here's a description of RDM (from the RDM Developer's Handbook, Avaya Argentina):

The Reusable Dialog Module (RDM) was developed as a reusable component for speech enabled
applications (although it has been used for DTMF only application in many opportunities)
It provides developers with a quick way for creating prompts, including:
    • Confirmations
    • Retries
    • internal REPEAT and HELP commands management
    • Standard Speech and TTS
The RDM allows customization thru input parameters or configuration files (providing a way to change
    prompts without recompiling applications)

Ferdinanda, You should be aware that Experience Portal 7 is EOL and will not be sold after December. You might want to move up to AAEP 8. Just an FYI, since not everyone gets all the Avaya support bulletins.
