    Dear All,

We are planing to migrate 2000 Plus H.323 phones (96xx and J Series) to SIP phone. Aura 8.1 environment.
Please share some of your experiences in doing so, what are the steps which I should follow and the caveats which I should take into prior considerations. Any document on this topic would also be helpful.

Note - Always consider pilot testing before making such big move.

    1. Need SIP OPTIM trunks between CM and SM (try using port 5070)
    2. Update private numbering table for PPM
    3. Update off-pbx-station table
    4. Update CM station form with correct set type
    5. Build CM OPTIM SIP entity and entity links
    6. Define 5070 listening port on SM SIP entity with endpoint checkbox
    7. Add CM as a managed element on SMGR and synchronize it
    8. Build SIP user profile
    9. Build application sequencing for AST and PPM features
    10. Build 46xx settings file with SIP options
    11. Flash pilot group phones wit SIP firmware

    Important 46xx settings parameters:
    SET SIG 2
    SET SIPDOMAIN lab.mydomain.com
    SET SIP_CONTROLLER_LIST <SM01-SM100>:5061;transport=tls,<SM02-SM100>:5061;transport=tls
    SET ENABLE_PPM_SOURCED_SIPPROXYSRVR 0
    SET SIMULTANEOUS_REGISTRATIONS 3
    SET FAILBACK_POLICY auto
    SET SIPREGPROXYPOLICY simultaneous
    SET MEDIAENCRYPTION 1
    SET TRUSTCERTS slamonRootCA.crt,smgr-tmdefaultca.txt
