  • 1.  Increasing UDP timeout on firewall and any impact on voice traffic

    Hi folks, for reasons unrelated to our Avaya voice infrastructure, my data networking team needs to modify our UDP timeouts on the firewall from 60 to 120 seconds. I've been asked if this will impact our voice traffic, such as for SIP endpoints, VoIP calling, etc. I can't find anything in our documentation about UDP timeout parameters. I don't see any problem with this (wouldn't it potentially do more good than harm even?) Do any of you see an issue?
