Avaya Webcast: Policy-based Assignment of Users and Support for Registration of SIP Clients to 4 SMs

This webinar covers new capabilities available in Session Manager Release 10.1 for assignment of users to Session Managers. A policy-based approach is utilized which allows the system to automate and optimize how users are distributed and serviced across various SMs. The newly available policies, typical uses cases, and their administration in System Manager are described. In addition, the number of Session Managers that a SIP device can register to is expanded from two to four, providing for added SIP reliability. The requirements for enabling these capabilities and the associated administrative and reporting functions/enhancements available are addressed.
