    Good Morning Everyone,

Can anyone explain how to get the forwarding information to display on SIP phones. After migrating to SIP users are no longer able to see that the incoming is from another extension that has been forwarded to them

When an H.323 station activates their Call-Fwd and you dial that extension the called ext can visually see that it is a forwarded call from another station. When a SIP station activates Call-Fwd the receiving extension only sees it as an incoming call with the caller ID with no way to tell that is forwarding from another extension. Is there a config setting that will allow SM to pass this information or is this just another short fall in SIP?

Check the 46xx settings file. Maybe these setting will help:

    Hey John,

Thanks for the reply. I actually tried changing this setting and still did not receive the "forwarded by" on the receiving ext.

    Thank you,
