    Dear All,
    Greetings.

    Soon we would be deploying Avaya J series IP Phones in remote branches in WiFi mode. We are doing this for first time with no prior experience of dealing with them. I would like to know any useful tips, caveat, case studies from the folks out here who are already using      J series phone in WiFi mode.

    My biggest worry is the audio quality, Please let me know your experiences, challenges & work around in handling WiFi handsets.

    Hi,
    I had experience using Wi-Fi in J179 phones for testing.
    Inserted the Wireless Module.
    The sound quality was good. You can choose more suitable codecs.
    Have you already deployed your J100 phones in WiFi ?

    Hi Ruslan,

    Yes, we have started deploying J159 with WiFi, this is phase wise deployment in multiple branch locations, the feedback so far is positive and the infrastructure team is admiring them as they dont need to worry about PoE switches and cabling tasks and expenses.
