  • 1.  Avaya SMGR Email - How to edit the message body?

    Hello -

    So we are playing around with having System Manager be able to send emails to End Users, etc. and was wondering - How do you edit the Message Body of the standard email message?

    To be more precise, we are looking to be able to customize this email that gets sent out of SMGR:

     Has anyone tried to do this? If so, could you share some notes - because I have been digging through forums, Avaya Documents, etc. and have not found this yet.

                       We done the same exercise about a year / 18 months ago and was told by the mother ship (Avaya) on version 8.1.2 what you see is what you get not sure if they have made a update since,

    Hi James.  Look at this file:
    opt/Avaya/JBoss/wildfly-10.1.0.Final/modules/system/layers/base/com/avaya/smgr/conf/upm/main/UserNotifications.xml

    Backup and modify at your own risk.  Not sure changing this file will actually change the emails, but it's a place to start.
