Does anyone have any experience with attempting to register Cisco SIP (7900 or 7800) Endpoints to an Avaya Session Manager? I can't find any recent documentation that supports any type of compatibility other than this old Dev Connect note below.
Cisco IP Phone Models
7800/7900 Series running SIP firmware
Avaya Session Manager 7.1.3 (TLS with 3rd Party Certificates)
Avaya Communication Manager 7.1.3
Any successes, pitfalls, extreme words of caution and feedback in general is appreciated.
I found this, but it looks pretty dated and related to 7900 series phones and Session Manager R6.
