  • 1.  IPSI TN2312 don't appear ON CM7

    Posted 04-07-2017 04:29 AM

    Hello,

I have a big concern and I hope you can help me.

I installed AURA R7 for a customer who was on CM 5.2.1 and who wants to keep the G650 cabinet. When I add a new "Circuit pack" and I want to declare the IPSI card, it does not appear in the drop-down list. I have all the other cards but not the TN2312 IPSI card.

The IPSI is auto installed and shows up on display circuit-pack x, when you plug it into the g650 carrier.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. that's mean if the IPSI si not yet configured in CM7 with the correct IP @ and CM7 don't show the IPSI, we can't add it. Right ?

I want to make a test by addind IPSI on CM7. is the command get forced-takeover ipserver-interface on CM7 can force IPSI to register in CM7 ? and how can I register it back again on CM5 ?

    Thank you.

    add ipserver-interface x

This command is used from SAT to administer a tn2312 ipsi board. You must also configure the tn2312 for DHCP or static ip address. Read you installation documentation.

The IPSIs are already configured. I will keep the same IP addressing.

I wanted to know how to switch the IPSI from one CM to another.

On CM7 the command "get forced-takeover ipserver-interface" exists but not on CM5.
