    Hi,

Currently I am trying to move my organization away from an old IP_Tel installation on a physical server to Avaya's Aura Utiliy Server on a VM.  I have the Utility Server up and running, configured the way I want.  The only issue now is I want to give the Utiliy Server the IP address of our IP_Tel Server (obviously shutting down the IP_Tel server before doing this) that way the phones will connect to the Utilty Server and update the firmware without any further configuration (without going into too much detail, we are looking at re-IPing all of our Avaya phones and hope to do this change pre-emptively so that not every phone is rebooting and updating firmware all at once when we do re-IP).

I realize that there is no root access to the Utility Server, so my question is is there any possible way to change the IP post installation?  I've backed up the Utility Server w/ firmware and, worst case, can recreate the VM with the proper IP and then restore from the backup, but I'd rather not do all that if there is a simple way to just change the IP address currently assigned.  Thank you!

Why not just change your DHCP scope for the new fileserver IP and then
    reboot the phones?
