I am very new to Avaya (having previously worked briefly on a Definity G3 > 13 years ago).
I have done the following :-
1. Setup CM 7 on vmware (no license.. using 30 day grace period)
2. Setup SMGR on vmware .. SMGR and CM7 communicate successfully
3. Added a station as ip-softphone and 46xx or 96xx series (it added ok)
4. Installed One-X (v6) on a PC
However, when I try and login as the station, I see in wireshark some H.323 activity, but the registration times out.
There are a lot of good videos on youtube and lots of good documentation, but for a simple activity like this, I could not find any good solution.
I am not sure if the issue is that I do not have a Media Server installed ?
On further investigation, I see the error :-
denial event=2041 IP RRJ-No DSP Resource d1=0000 d2=x.x.x.x
Which makes me believe that I do need to have an external media server ?
Any tips on how I can get this "hello world" setup going would be highly appriciated.
