Ok. In that case, there isn't an easy fix. In order for that conference call to remain pinned up, one Avaya station still has to be involved. A work-around could be that you could place the call on hold (hold won't play hold music past the 2nd person added to the call), or transfer to another station on the switch.
The proper way to do this is to either involve a meet-me conference room, or a conference call server. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that if you have an AAC server, you can migrate an ad-hoc conference call to AAC.

Nope. Originating station is avaya, then more parties are involved using external numbers (geo or mobile), when avaya station leaves, only external numbers stay. This is the point of the question, I think; 'cause the avaya station is the phone entity who builds the conference, when it exits, des not leaves some "room" where external communication can continue to exist.
