We're looking to go away with our MM voicemail entirely and replace this feature with an speech to text application that can work with a CM 6.0 S8800.

Mutare offers hosted voicemail with integrated voice to text.  If you are interested call me at 847-496-9003.

    Paul,

We use the Mutare solution, but you should know that it augments your current Modular Messaging or Aura Messaging system.  It does not answer calls for you and simply transcribe the voice and e-mail it to you.  It reads the voicemail messages on your messaging server and transcribes the first 30 seconds and e-mails that, along with the original voice message as an attachment.

It works really well and people generally love it.  Early on, we had to ask for an F-bomb filter, which was provided very quickly.

That is true for EVM with giSTT. But we also offer our own hosted voicemail solution with voice to text as a standard feature. It is a light weight, hosted voicemail solution for companies looking to decrease their investment in hardware and maintenance. It is sold under a SaaS model. We host the servers in our secure cloud and charge on per user per month basis. The solution can answer both business and mobile phones for users. If you would like more details, just let me know how many users you have and I can get you a quote and even set you up on your cell phone so you can demonstrate it yourself. For your CM you either use ISDN re-direct or SIP trunks to support your desk phones. All messages, business and cell go right to email with a sound file and text transcription.
