We have a Rel 6.3 CM and have the ability to send the 5 digit extension when an internal call is sent out to the cell phone. However, we want to be able to send the entire phone number so that the person can call them back by clicking on recents in phone. Is there a way? Also does SA8931 do this or something else. Thanks.

Sort of. We use a different trunk group from another gateway on our CM so that it will at least show up the 5 digit extension. However, if someone calls us from that gateway, it will only show up their main number and not the 5 digit extension.

You will need to make sure you map your 5-digit numbers using the change public-unknown table. This controls what the Caller-ID is on trunks that allow you to send out your own CLID.

Okay. Will try a few for testing. However, we have about 2000 people who use EC500 on our system and was told that the public unknown tables have a limitation.

You can easily do ranges, which helps out. I think the limit is > 10,000 entries. At least, we are getting close to that, so it shouldn't be an issue.
