  • 1.  Urgently Need Help, G430 Crashed.

    My system has crashed and I believe I am going to need to load SP on a new server and take it to my remote site to get this back in service.

    I am quite new to Avaya and my companies support contract has expired...  I need the most basic help with this procedure.

    I cannot ping any of the system addresses.  I tried to shutdown the unit, remove the cards, wait a few miunutes and bring it back up.  I have power and ALM lights, but that's it.

    IS the alarm light on the gateway or the card in slot v1?

    Can you login to the gateway but not Communication Manager? What versions are you on?

    Is it not easier to renew the support contract if you have a site down?

    Hi Ross,
    The alarm light Is on the S8300D in slot v1.

    I cannot ping anything except the Gateway.  It appears I can log into the gateway only.

    Yes, it would be eaiser.  I have had problems with my vendor and Avaya on what they say is installed at my sites.  Contract expired, BOOM.  I have a failure.
