    Hello -  

    Is there a self-service piece to Aura 8, to  allow users to  program buttons/speed dials on their phone, call-fwd settings, VM passcode resets.

    Yes there is a basic self-service portal available in System Manager but a really powerful one available called Customer Portal. We have this in use in some organisations with 10s of thousands of employees. Ask your account team about Customer Portal.
