    Is it normal for the Polycom Soundstation 2 to make noise when idle and on-hook? We have two that have sound coming from the speaker in an idle state. Sounds like dead air.

    Hey Al, I presume these are analog Soundstations? Regardless, yes, there always seems to be a faint, low-level hum coming out of these things as long as they are powered on. At least that's my experience with them.
