  • 1.  Coverage Path issue

    Posted 03-04-2019 12:54 PM
G3V16 Enterprise, CM7.6, From the beginning, a caller calls an extension with a coverage path for four rings if no answer then to coverage point 1. Coverage point 1 is a VDN with vectoring. The caller listens to the main announcement in the vector, presses option 3, is then routed to an extension with a coverage path that will ring 3 times then to coverage point 1 with coverage point 1 being the initial extension with the coverage path with the vdn. Coverage point 2 in this second coverage path is hunt 99 for voice mail messaging for the initial extension. When the incoming call routes to the last coverage path, the call just rings not covering anywhere. What could be the issue? What am I missing? Any assistance is appreciated.

    Extension 9511 > coverage path > 4 rings > cov point 1 is VDN > vector > announcement > option 3 > 1448 > coverage path > 3 rings > cov point 1 > initial VDN > vector > 3 rings > if no answer > second VDN > vector with 1 second ringback then messaging for skill hunt 99. Hope this helps.

    Hi,

can you just post the vector where you send to messaging please? Are you sending to active extension?

On the cov path for x9511 make sure that the setting "Cvg Enabled for VDN Route-To-party?" is set to "y".  See if that fixes it.

Preliminary testing has proved that it is now working correctly after I made your suggested change. The end user will test more. I had "Cvg Enabled for VDN Route-To-party?" set to "y" in only the last coverage path but not in the first coverage path. If anything changes or if I have further information to post, I'll do it here. Thank you very much, Mr Pollard, I truly appreciated your assistance with this issue. Have a good day!
