    Posted 02-14-2019 02:39 PM

    Here's a fun one.

    CS1K v7.6
External call comes in to Exec's phone on his DID (2616).
Admin has a ringing appearance on her phone (2616) and answers the call.
Exec is at an offsite meeting, his cell phone rings.
Exec answers his cell phone and hears his admin talking to the external caller.
Exec can hear them, they can't hear him.

Nothing on the Exec or admin's phone forwards offsite.
No call forward set (except to voicemail and nothing in voicemail forwards)

Admin claims she didn't conference or transfer the call.

    Ready...... GO!!!

    Al,

I'll assume that you scanned the switch for a phantom TN appearance for that Executive's DN?

Also, are you SURE (seen it with your own eyes) that there is nothing configured as a softphone on that smartphone device?

    Hopefully, this is easily repeatable?

If it is, you need to catch the outbound call to the Exec's phone, it HAS to be coming from somewhere, and if you can put your finger on that leg of the call, you will lead yourself to the culprit.

If you run an enhanced trace on the admins TN, that should point you down the path of the bridge.

Also curious to what the CLID is showing up on the Exec's phone is, and remember THAT may throw you off on a wild goose chase. Find the actual outbound leg of the call and trace it back.

    Good one Al!
