  • 1.  CDR on basis of Called Numbers (DID Reports)

    Hello folks,

    I need to provide CDR reports for a Hotline number (basically a DID) which internally rings 20 phones simultaneously by Coverage answer group.
    I am able to get consolidated reports when I select each extension individually but business owners need report specifically for the calls recieved on Hot line number.

    Hot line number is getting terminated on an ISDN PRI, from there its mapped to a virtual ext which has a coverage path pointing to Coverage answer group.

    I tried to pull the report based on virtual ext but its not generating because CM is not sending any data for virutal ext.
    Its sending data for the ext which is answering the call in the Cov answer group.

    Please suggest.

    I would create a VDN and simple vector that routes to the Coverage Answer Group, and report on that VDN. That would also allow you to provide a welcome message to callers.

    Hi Marc,

    Problem with VDN is, if we set coverage yes in route to number step of vector, we dont get cli data on phones.

    Hello Arslan,
    I think Mark has a good idea with the VDN if you have variables in vectors.  You may want to experiment with the following:
    • Create a variable for ANI
    • Create a variable for UUI data
    • When the call arrives, copy the ANI to the UUI variable
    • Route the call to the station with the coverage aswer group
    • Use a uui-info feature button on the phone to retrieve the ANI from the UUI data.
    Hoping this works and that it's of help to you.  We use uui-info buttons for a similar application.  I cant look up the details until sometime next week so right now consider this conceptual.
