  • 1.  Coverage path not working

So, incoming call to 5146, rings 4 times, coverage point 1 ringing 2 times, then to Point 2 which is the Original incoming station 5146 for 3 rings, then needing it to route to the voice mail of 5146 if no answer. Voice mail picks up after covering to Point 2. Each station is in the same call pickup group. Not sure if that is a problem or not but shouldn't be. Could it be a setting on a station(s) or the coverage path itself? Thanks for any assistance. Enterprise, G3 version V16, platform 28.

I'm not sure if I read this correctly but it sounds like the call doesn't ring at 75146 as Point 2? I.e. a caller dials to 75146, it rings 4 times, then coverage kicks in, call routes to 70135, and then to voicemail, skipping 75146 as defined in the coverage path. That would be working as designed AFIK, since coverage is now active (i.e. the call is forwarded) on 75146 it will skip that step in the coverage path.
Depending on what the problem is that you're solving, you could try the route by adding these two stations to a DDC hunt group and dial the hunt group extension, then cover to the hunt group. I can't think of another way to have the initial extension ring at two different points in a cov path. That way, coverage is active on the hunt group, not the station so you bypass the issue of coverage to a forwarded phone.
