    Nortel CS1K v7.6
When we transfer calls externally to a toll free number, the caller ID shows our CDP code and the extension of the TN that transferred the call. The carrier is rejecting the call because it's looking for a valid DID.

This was working flawlessly for years, so not sure what's changed (nothing on our end)

The curveball is that the phone lives on a networked PBX, using CDP taking it across the network using SIP trunks to our main PBX with a CDN, that hits an AACC script that uses a ROUTE CALL command to send the call out on SIP trunks to CenturyLink
Best case is I'd like to display the caller's number, second choice would be the CLID of the extension that initiated the transfer.

As I type this I had a couple ideas to try, but wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.
    Thanks
    Stay healthy!

    Al,
I'm not a Nortel administrator having spent my entire career on the AT&T/Lucent/Avaya heritage equipment.

In general, it looks like you're suffering from lack of diversion header when you send an INVITE to Centurylink.

Are you using Session Manager to route your SIP calls to an SBC before they reach Centurylink?  If so, your outbound adaptation towards your SBC ( labeled Digit Conversion for Outgong Calls from SM) can be set to match your CDP code in the Matching Pattern field.  The DID you want to show Centurylink for billing can be put into the Diversion Header by putting it in the Adaptation Data field.  Set the Address to Modfy to "origination."

If you don't have System/Session Manager, you may be able to adapt the diversion header in your SBC.

Hope I've understood your use case.
