  • 1.  CMS Supervisor Thick Client Transporter Not Responding error

    I am getting a transporter stopped working error with what I can see as an unhandled win32 exception occurred ACSTrans.exe [1952] message tied to it for 1 report only. All my other reports run fine

    Any ideas?  I have tried rebooting the server, reinstalling the application, limiting the amount of data to return, changing the timezones ect and it still throws the same error

    I am using CMS Supervisor R18. and I export the results as a text file. I Can run the report from Chrome on the web based client successfully but that will not allow me to export as a text file. 

    This report has been running every day for the past few months with no issues. The issue just started today and nothing have changed on the server to my knowledge

    Some questions.

    • Have you tried the supervisor application on another PC?
    • Have you updated to the latest version of Supervisor?
    • Have you installed any other software on the PC?
    • Does the failure occur when exporting or running the report?
    • I take it this is a custom report. Can you confirm?

    • Have you tried the supervisor application on another PC? - Another user in another building ran the report for me and exported it properly.
    • Have you updated to the latest version of Supervisor? - no
    • Have you installed any other software on the PC? - no
    • Does the failure occur when exporting or running the report? - the failure occurs sporadically and what is really weird is it will fail one day and run successfully the next but on my pc I can never run the report successfully for the day with the error manually, but my collegue can
    • I take it this is a custom report. Can you confirm? - yes it is a custom report
