    Dear All
i used CM 5.2 with S8300C ,G700 , MM711 (HW 33 FW vintage 93) and i connect my Avaya PABX to Teleco in Egypt using CO line trunk

    ----------------------------------
And i'm Changing "Change System-paratmer Country option" and open analog busy trunk disconnect .
also i checked the "Customer Option" "Global Call Classification"
Also i Configure the "System OCM-Call-Classification" to the following

    SYSTEM PARAMETERS OCM-CALL-CLASSIFICATION
    TONE DETECTION PARAMETERS:
    Global Classifier Adjustment (dB): 0
    USA Default Algorithm? n
    USA SIT Algorithm? y
Global Busy Tone Detection Adj (db): 0
    Tone Name Busy
    Instance 4
    Cadence Duration Duration
    Minimum Maximum
    Conclusion:
1- When i called from outside to our PABX the trunk not released after i answer from any station .
2- Also i Change the incoming trunk destination to VDN with vector containing a repeated announcement and status the trunk , Incoming Call to the trunk doesn't release from Vector and still Active in status.
3- When Changed the Disconnect Supervision In to N in CO trunk , the system receive a call and disconnect after 1 second without continuing a call .

Try switching it to ground start and making another test call.

Teleco in Egypt doesn't work with ground start :(

I solved the problem by changing
    Disconnect supervision IN : n

    and
    go to System OCM
and tuning the Global Busy tone Disconnect Gain DB : 5 DB

i refer this adjustment to the avaya product note , i checked firmware and using CM 5.2 , and adjust the Gain .

    Thanks in advanced

    Thanks ehelms ;
This tips for detecting the busy tone Cadence; . If both parties are in talk mode, one side hangs up the call , Avaya has to recognize the disconnect tone from local PSTN , recognize this disconnect tone and release the LINE port with the pre-defined busy tone or reorder tone from tone table.
There are three parameters received from PSTN/PBX.
    - High level frequency and Low level frequency
    - Tone Cadence (ON/OFF intervals)
    - Tone level
Each different PSTN/PBX have different parameters
i used the sony Sound Forge program :) to get the maximum duration and minimum duration of the tone , I record the busy tone from PSTN , with 22,050 HZ mono 8bit , Sound forge get sin wave shape , and i used the time detector to measure the duration of ON tone and OFF tone
Then i used this in OCM system in 2nd page , as busy tone .
Remember that USA default of OCM system 1st page to n

Thanks very much Karim for the work and clarification here, we really made use of this post.
However, would you be so kind to share the exact output of the SYSTEM OCM-CALL for Egypt [Telecom Egypt] so that we can use it for another customer.

    I appreciate your response.

    Dear Samy
for Busy Class of OCM , this for Egypt Telecom

    Tone Name Busy
    Instance 4
    Cadence Duration Duration
    Minimum Maximum
    1: on 225 525
    2: off 225 525
    3: on 225 525
    4: off 225 525
    ---------------------
and control the gain from OCM , as you know our TE have huge noise on loop start lines :S

    Dear All ;
After testing problem with common Loop-start CO lines ;there are some settings with Egypt Telecom loop start lines which worked with me

1-First you should find the busy tone duration electrical pulse shape .
2- you need to ensure some settings.
3- you should go to OCM- System Parameters
4- You should go to Country-system Parameters
5- You should go to Co Trunks page .
6- You should ensure analog module firmware version.
    ---------------------------------------------
1- To detect busy tone pattern , using sound forge application from sony or any other free application which display wave shape , record busy tone from Co line through your computer and open this recorded file in Sony sound Forge application , you can note the duration of ON signal and Off signal from timeline of application , Common in Egypt (ON almost 250 and OFF 550)

2- display customer option system parameter and check Global Call Classification? y

3- go to system parameter country option and check this field
Enable Busy Tone Disconnect for Analog loop-start Trunks? y

4- go to system parameter OCM change USA Default Algorithm? n, and page 2 :

    Tone Name Busy
    Instance 4
    Cadence Duration Duration
    Minimum Maximum
1: on Value 1 Value 2 from sound application (try 225 and 525)
    2: off Value 1 Value 2
    3: on Value 1 Value 2
    4: off Value 1 Value 2
    ------------------
5- go to trunk (CO) and go to page of administrate time and check
    Busy Tone Disconnect? y

6- Go to Supervision Disconnect IN change to (n) * note this selection cause problem with trunk to trunk transfer ( so you can try this step with (y) first and if not work try (n) .

Also you need go to system Feature parameters :
Off-Premises Tone Detect Timeout Interval (seconds): 20

7-You May need to tune "Global Busy Tone Detection Adj (db): X" from (0 to 5) .

8- Test Global busy tone gain value from 0 and try , then 1 and try , until it work . Don't hurry until 4 busy tone and the system will disconnect line .

I find you don't need change busy tone gain if you use last CM 5.2.1 SP X and get last firmware update for your media module.

    { you Need check firmware
    Request and apply the latest approved combo patch that includes the Service Interrupting patch 12920 plus Media Gateway firmware 25.33.0 or later. After applying the firmware . You can also upgrade to Release 3.1.3 or 4.0 of Communication Manager. }
