For external paging system using aux pack ports

    change paging loudspeaker
to configure the ports and dial access codes for zones and all zone

    or

    for speakerphone paging groups

    add group-page

Could also configured analogue extensions to integrated with the PAGING SYSTEM. On the Avaya end, just configured the extension as analogue "type 2500" on a analogue module.

Most likely you do not have an Aux trunk card with your S8300 pbx. Most S8300's require a paging interface such as a UPAM. (Universal Paging Access Module).
You can build your paging port as a Analog station as suggested or as a trunk port. We use trunk port and build it as a watts trunk. Add the trunk port to the trunk form and give it a tac code to dial it. Connect the port to the UPAM's 1st pair tip/ring. Connect the ampto the page output pair on the UPAM and connect the power to the last pair on the UPAM.
Dial the tac code and the page should be heard.

Hey guys- trying to set up paging without a UPAM (just using a MM711 in a G350 - can I do this?) using 'cha paging loudspeaker'. When I try to enter an analog gateway port into the form (012v308) it says 'Object type and port type inconsistent' - what am I doing wrong? Should I just get a paging pack? Thanks

I'm trying to run the command "change paging loudspeaker" on my S8300/G350 CM5.0 but could not get that particular command. Is there anything to enable to have this command?
