ARS Problem - denial event 1166: Unassigned number

    Inactive Forum User
Hi Guys, Hoping someone can offer some help to a problem i am having with ARS from a specific location.

I have a call denying from germany - location 26. ARS table has specific entry in the ars ana loc 26 for numbers beginning 03. Now i am sending out via a specific route pattern (427) which is dropping the first 0 and inserting 0049 (country code for Germany) - the calls are going out via circuits from the UK so the 0049 is required.
Now when i do a list trace of the station it is attempting to send the call out from route pattern 800 (which is our UK route, therefore not insertign the 0049 - thus being an inrecognized UK number).

I have checked the main ARS table to check there is no entry overiding the location ARS.

    any ideas?

Are you sure the phone placing the phone call is defined in the correct location?

I think there are two possibilities for the cause.
    1. The Phone that places the call is not located in Location 26
-check the NR the phone is in (maybe check Network Map)
    2. There is a better match in ARS all table
-I have an experience that if you use location based ARS routing then the ARS all table should be empty!
-Use ars location tables for all locations and clear the all table solves lots of this issues.

Looking at the trace it is picking route-pattern 800.

I would look at route pattern 800 and see why it is picking it.

I had a similar problem, our 2 CM locations are connected via tie trunk - 31..when ever i dial an internal extension 3142 in this case it would give a denial event. later on I realized the ars table had a better match for this extn. below are the traces, both good and bad:

I also get the denial sometimes, for me, it's when i am sending a call over a tie line to another PBX, and they do not have the number programmed yet
